This Refund Policy applies to one-time purchases of digital HD pet portrait downloads on Still Life Pets.
1. Preview before you pay
You can upload one cat or dog photo and view free watermarked previews in up to four styles from our catalog of eight before purchasing. Please review previews carefully before paying.
2. What you buy
A successful payment of USD $14.99 unlocks two (2) HD digital downloads per style you chose (eight (8) when you choose four styles from our catalog of eight), delivered digitally. There is no subscription. Printed/shipped products are not offered in v1.
3. When refunds are available
Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase, and only if:
(a) HD files fail to deliver after a successful payment (after we have attempted to resolve technical delivery issues); or
(b) your pet is unrecognizable in the HD results after we provide one free regenerate, and the regenerate is still unsatisfactory.
4. What is not refundable
- Change of mind after you have been able to download HD files
- Dislike of artistic style when previews were shown before payment
- Uploads that are blurry, heavily filtered, multi-pet, wrong animal type, or otherwise outside v1 guidance
- Chargebacks filed without first contacting support (we may contest invalid disputes)
This is not a 30-day no-questions-asked policy.
5. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with:
- the email used at checkout
- order/payment reference from PayPal (if available)
- a short description of the issue (delivery failure vs likeness)
We may ask for screenshots. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via PayPal; timing depends on your bank.
6. Regenerates
For likeness issues, we offer one free regenerate per paid order before a refund under section 3(b). Additional regenerates are not included in v1 unless we choose to provide them at our discretion.
