About Still Life Pets
Still Life Pets is an online service at stilllifepets.com that turns one clear photo of a cat or dog into AI-generated digital portraits, in a catalog of eight styles. You see free watermarked previews first, then pay $14.99 once to unlock 2 HD downloads per style, so 8 HD when you pick all 4. It is digital only.
What we make
We make museum-worthy digital portraits of cats and dogs. You choose from eight styles:
- Classical Oil — museum oil painting
- Royal Costume — regal period attire
- Watercolor — soft paper wash
- Studio Portrait — pro photo finish
- Pencil Sketch — graphite drawing
- Pop Art — bold comic color
- Stained Glass — lead & jewel panes
- Anime — clean anime still
You can see them all side by side on our styles page. The samples on our site are illustrative, and your results will vary with the photo you upload.
How it's made: AI, not a hand painter
Every Still Life Pets portrait is generated by AI. Our portraits are not hand-painted by artists. They are produced by automated systems, and the result can vary from photo to photo. It isn't an open-ended AI image tool either: you can't type free-text prompts, styles come from a curated, fixed catalog, and subjects are limited to cats and dogs.
We can't promise that every result will perfectly match your pet's breed, markings, or face. That's why you see watermarked previews before you pay, so you can judge the likeness yourself. Our Refund Policy explains when refunds are available after you pay.
Traditional commissions excel at intentional handwork and round-after-round revisions; AI portraits excel at speed, price, and trying multiple style previews before you pay. If you're weighing the two, read digital pet portraits vs. traditional commissions.
How it works
- Upload one clear photo of your cat or dog (JPG, PNG, or WebP, under 8MB). No account needed. Here's how to choose a good photo.
- Pick up to 4 styles and get free watermarked previews.
- Pay once ($14.99) to unlock 2 HD downloads per style — 8 HD when you pick all 4 styles. See pricing for exactly what's included.
What we don't do
- No human portraits, and no animals other than cats and dogs.
- No prints or shipping in v1. You get digital files, and you're welcome to print and frame them at home for personal use.
- No subscription and no credit packs.
- No NSFW content and no deepfakes.
- No free-text prompts.
Your photos, your privacy
The photo you upload stays yours. You give us permission to process it so we can make your previews and HD files. You don't need an account, and we use your email as an order key for your preview and download links. We do not sell your personal information. Payments are handled by PayPal, and we don't store full card numbers. To create your portraits, your photo is sent to third-party image generation providers. The details are in our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Acceptable Use Policy.
